CHC Fitchburg Expansion Project Groundbreaking

The true "groundbreaking" has begun at the future home of the Fitchburg Community Health Center, 326 Nichols Rd! The new healthcare facility, still located on the Burbank Campus of HealthAlliance Hospital, will enable the Center to expand services and to provide improved access to care for all. The expansion project includes:

• Expand from 9 to 20 dental operatories (13 CHC, 7 MWCC, and looking towards the realization of a dental residency program
• Expand the behavioral health department from 7 counseling rooms to 12 counseling rooms
• Add 4,000 patients (over 2 years)
• Add 20,000 annual visits (over 2 years)
• 145 New Jobs (107 construction, 7 provider, 7 administrative, 24 patient support ) over 2 years
