Angela Alves Cabral, MD has joined the clinical staff at Community Health Connections’ Fitchburg Community Health Center. Dr. Cabral is a Board Certified Family Medicine Physician. She graduated from Ross University School of Medicine, Dominica, West Indies before completing her residency at the University of Massachusetts Medical School.
Dr. Cabral has a longstanding interest in medicine. She achieved a Master of Science in Health Science from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts and was a Board Certified Respiratory Therapist at Caritas Carney Hospital in Dorchester, Massachusetts before training to be a physician. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Family Medicine Education Consortium, the Massachusetts Medical Society, and the American College of Physicians.
“I am committed to providing patients with a solid understanding of preventive care and individualized treatment,” she stated, “where I can use my language skills.” Dr. Cabral is fluent in Cape Verdean Creole, Portuguese, Spanish and English.
